Saving Shea...

This isnt just any bracelet! This bracelet is fighting for a little boy named Shea. Shea is a little boy who is an orphan and because of his age and his diagnosis of Spina Bifida will be institutionalized very soon if a family doesn't adopt him. 5.00 of every bracelet purchased will go to helping save Shea. So this Christmas give a gift that truly makes a difference. Every "Saving Shea" bracelet will come with a small card explaining to the recipient where the money is going and the difference it is making.

  1. Hi Liz
My name is Joanna Penny and I am the one who first found Shea, fell in love with is sweet face and soulful eyes and wanted to help him. I've never done anything like this before nor had we considered adoption until seeing his face. We weren't sure the extent our role would be in Shea's life or adoption, but we wrote about him on our blog www.babyboypenny.blogspot.com and started his own blog www.savingshea.com and the facebook page "Saving Shea" in efforts to raise money and awareness - to find a family for Shea. I would love to talk to you and share our stories about Shea. We are still fundraising and have been blown away at the money raised thus far. If you are interested and willing to talk to me - please email me at pennymom09@gmail.com or through our family blog. Thank you! I look forward to "meeting" you. :)

  2. Yes, please keep Joanna in the loop, she has made Shea a part of our Spina Bifida family... we all love him now:). She is his guardian of hope and I think her knees have bleed in prayer over this sweet little boy!
We will all be praying for you as we have been praying for Shea! God Speed for a quick adoption and God's will! Merry Christmas!

  3. Hearing that your family will be adopting Shea was the best Christmas present I could have gotten. This sweet boy has been on my mind and in my heart every day since I first learned about him. I know he is going to be a wonderful addition to your beautiful family.

We have Shea's link on our family blog and will continue to encourage the sale of "his" bracelet. We bought five and all who received them tonight were touched by his story.

We have a strong group of SB mom's who will all be here to support you and Shea as best as we can.

    Congratulations and Merry Christmas,

    Nicole
